Lao Zi and Taoism
551 Dear Journal,
My name is Lou Zi and I am going to tell you a little bit about my religon called Taoism. Taoism is a religon that is really about being in harmony with nature. He taught us to look beyond everyday life. To care to focus on the Dao, or the way of teh universe. My religon mean everything to me and thats why I'm so happy with getting this journal! I am so excited to pass thsi down to my daugher when she turns 13 also.

Zheng He
1405 Dear Journal,
Hi my name is Jenna and I am 12 years old. My mom said that she wrote in a journal when she was a younger and that I am going to be a teenager I should have something to write everything down in, so she gave me you. In Chian right now their is a lot of weird stuff happening their is this weurd guy who wants to sail around parts of Asia and get money for himself and tell everyone to trade with us. I think it is a good idea for someone to tell peopel about trading with China, but I dont think it was smart of him to do it now . This is because our emporer and goverment do not want him to do thsi because tehy want evryone in cHina to saty in chian which i also think is wrong of them to want to tell everyoen they have to stay in one place. Confucianism is a philosphy that staes that the goals of average people like social order and good govermant is not important. What tehy say is important is honesty,hard work, and concerns for others. They also have the Yin and Yang. Yin is linkeed to earth, darkness, and female focus. Yang is heaven, light make forces. This religon developed GOODNESS!! Can you beleive it, I can't because then where would we be in the world? It is so great, this reliogon is. They also find that humanity, respect,authority, and family are also very imortant. This journal was such a good idea from my mom to let off all of the stuff I was thinking about out in teh open.

Hello journal name is Ying De Sawn and I am a 14 year old living in the Quin Dynasty. This week has been very hectic because apparently the goverment is trying to bring all of our neighboring dynasties together to form this country that will be called China. I'm very confused about the whole thing because personally I'm fine with whatever happens as long as I can have my family with me. But, sinse I live with my family of 9, I get alot of opinions about the whole thing. I believe that my dynasty is doing great by itself. We have better food, more resourses, and a great homeland military.

Hi journal it is awful are ruler is now this man named Zheng and he is making our army turn against us so that we will allow him to unify China. My family is getting so frustrated that we just don't care anymore. He is using brutal force to get what he wants which is not the right way to do anything. I will report back as soon as possible. He even had a book burning.

Hello again journal it has been such a long tiem! sorry I haven't written in a while I am now 24 and married with 3 children my oldest has a journal of her own now so she can record her thoughts through a journal like I have with you. Hopefully she will be more frequent with her writing. But, now I need you so much more than ever. So much has gone on in my country since I have last writen to you. Our emporer died, which was such a huge shock to my dynasty and now my dynasty is in revolt. And it is soon to become deceased. I will right again soon.
